ISRO launches free online course for school teachers on space tech

The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a premier training arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has announced a free online certificate course tailored for school teachers across India. Titled "Space Technology and Its Applications," the course is scheduled to be held from June 9 to June 13, 2025, and is designed to enhance awareness and capacity among educators about the role and impact of space technologies.

This initiative is part of ISRO’s Antriksh Jigyasa and SETU (Space Education and Training for Upgrading) programmes, which aim to empower teachers as key agents in inspiring students toward science and technology careers.
