Who is eligible for the ISRO internship scheme?

Students pursuing disciplines in Science or Technology from any recognized institutions whether from India or abroad are eligible to apply under this scheme.

  • Students must be pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD programs in Science or Technology.
  • A minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10 is required.

The internship duration spans a maximum of 45 days, providing students with a unique opportunity to work alongside experts in the field and gain practical insights into space research.

Who is eligible for the ISRO Student Project Trainee scheme?

The ISRO student project trainee scheme caters to students at various levels including engineering students, ME/MTech students, final-year BSc/Diploma students, MSc students, and PhD scholars.

The eligibility criteria are based on the degree pursued by the students

  • Engineering students must have completed their 6th semester
  • ME/MTech students after their 1st semester
  • Final year BSc/Diploma students
  • MSc students after their 1st semester
  • PhD scholars who have completed their coursework 
  • All students must possess a minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a scale of 10.

The project duration ranges from a minimum of 45 days to an extensive 30 months depending on the degree pursued by the candidate.
