Ever since Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plans have been announced, the telecommunications subsidiary owned by Reliance Industries seems to have contained the damage that was caused due to asking consumers to pay for the Interconnect Usage Charges (IUC) of 6 paise per minute. Although Reliance Jio had promised to make up for those IUC top-ups by providing extra data, consumers seemed to be dissatisfied.
However, the Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plans seem to be making up for the IUC charges, and are even offering more than what its regular plans are offering. For instance, the Reliance Jio Rs 198 plan offers 2GB data per day, 100 SMSes free per day, and unlimited Jio to Jio calls. Nevertheless, if customers need to make calls to other network operators IUC top-up vouchers need to be purchased and to avail 1000 minutes of such calls, consumers would have to pay around Rs 100 extra, bringing the cost paid by the consumer per month to Rs 298.
But when the Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plan is concerned, at Rs 222 consumers can get 2GB data per day, 100 SMSes free per day, and unlimited Jio to Jio calls, along with 1000 minutes of calls to other network operators without having to pay additionally for IUC top-up vouchers. Thus, consumers get to save around Rs 70 with Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plans.
The same goes for other plans as well. So in comparison, here is how much money consumers will save by opting for Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plans that offer the same data as regular plans, and about 1000 Jio to Non-Jio minutes: 28 days plan at Rs 198 + Rs 100 IUC top-up vouchers VS Rs 222 (56 GB); 84 days plan at Rs 448 + Rs 100 IUC top-up vouchers VS Rs 444 (168 GB). There are also Rs 333 and Rs 555 Reliance Jio All-in-One-Plans, wherein the latter plan offers 168 GB for 84 days along with 3000 Jio to Non-Jio minutes.
