NIOS Result 2020: Concerned Students Ask for Results to Be Announced Soon

NIOS result 2020 will be announced before 7 August 2020, as directed by the Supreme Court of India as students will need the scores to take admission

NIOS result 2020 is expected to be released soon by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. The Supreme Court has directed the National Institute of Open Schooling to declare the results before 7 August 2020 as students will need the scores to take admission into higher classes. However, students have been demanding for the results to be announced sooner as the deadline to seek admissions into several universities in India end on 31 July 2020.

Several students have been requesting the government through social media platforms to declare the results as the last date to apply for IGNOU is 31 July 2020. “NIOS must release results within 3 to 4 days as we have to take UG admissions in IGNOU. However, IGNOU admissions close on 31st July. How can we take admissions? I am humbly requesting you to announce results as early as possible, within 3 to 4 days, as admissions are closing. Please understand parents and students’ view,” says Jackson on DataQuest.

“Sir, my humble request to you is to release NIOS result 2020. It’s already late for us to seek admission because IGNOU is going to close admission soon,” says Teron. “Please declare results within 4 to 5days, because I want to take admission in IGNOU. The last date of admission in IGNOU is 31 July,” says Anit like several others.

While there is still no official word on when the NIOS result 2020, students have been advised to download the DigiLocker app by the government as results of the National Institute of Open Schooling from 1990 to 2020 will be made available on the platform soon.

NIOS students will be able to access digital marksheets, migration and provisional certificates on the platform. DigiLocker can be downloaded from Google Play or Apple App Store. NIOS result 2020 will be declared based on the basis of an assessment scheme, which includes assignments submitted by students, that has been finalized by the component committee. Those who are unhappy with their results will be given an option to appear in the next public examination or on-demand examination to improve their results.
