The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defense is inviting applications for its apprenticeship training program for the years 2024 – 2025. The apprenticeship is being offered by the Advanced Centre for Energetic Materials (ACEM). It is a unique opportunity that offers hands-on experience in advanced technologies and research in the field of energetic materials.
ACEM is a composite propellant processing facility of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) located at Ambe Hill, Ojhar Nasik.

What are the eligibility criteria for DRDO apprentice recruitment 2024?
- Fresh pass-out candidates from 2022-2023 are eligible to apply.
- Candidates with training or job experience of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible.
- Candidates must register in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal. (Reservations will be applied as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961)
Here, it should be noted that ACEM does not guarantee employment after the apprenticeship period. And, any attempt to influence the selection process will lead to the disqualification of candidates. ACEM also reserves the right to adjust the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
