AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and ServiceNow have joined forces in a groundbreaking partnership to foster job-ready talent in India in terms of boosting the digital economy. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which envisions training over 10,000 students within the first year alone, with a broader objective of reaching 25,000 students over three years.

ServiceNow, a leading digital workflow company renowned for its innovative solutions, has inked this strategic MoU with AICTE, operating under the purview of the Ministry of Education. The primary goal of this alliance is to equip students with in-demand skills on the ServiceNow Platform, thereby enhancing their employability and readiness for the evolving job landscape.

Through this partnership, students will gain access to comprehensive training programs offered on ServiceNow's Now Learning platform, encompassing courses tailored to both ServiceNow Administrator and Developer roles. Moreover, participants will also have the opportunity to delve into cutting-edge AI technologies, ensuring they remain at the forefront of digital innovation.

The MOU will enable AICTE affiliated institutes across India to build a pool of qualified talent that will drive the next wave of tech innovation in India,” said Nick Tzitzon Chief Strategy and Corporate Affairs Officer at ServiceNow, while meeting AICTE leadership in New Delhi.

"Our collaboration with ServiceNow is aimed at providing students with advanced training in innovative concepts and techniques, alongside motivation to explore cutting-edge technologies tailored to their needs. This partnership underscores our commitment to student upskilling and technological literacy, essential for their future success," said Prof. (Dr) T G Sitharam, Chairman, of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

This collaboration aligns with ServiceNow's global initiative, the RiseUp program, which aims to equip one million individuals worldwide with essential digital skills. If we look specifically at India, the launch of the University Academic program has already yielded fruitful partnerships with 20 universities across 16 states. These collaborations, include ties with governmental bodies, FutureSkills Prime NASSCOM, and the ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu, and have successfully trained thousands of students, preparing them to seamlessly transition into the job market.

The partnership between AICTE and ServiceNow can be seen as a testament to innovation and collaboration in India's education landscape. It is expected to empower the next generation of tech talent and drive the nation's digital transformation agenda forward.
