New Bing with ChatGPT Features Unveiled: What It Can Do

Microsoft has now taken the lead in the AI chatbot war with Google and unveiled the all new Bing with ChatGPT features. This move expected to redefine the way search engines function as AI chatbots deliver results in a summary as opposed to displaying website links carrying the required information. Microsoft says that the company, through its AI-powered Bing and Edge browser, aims at delivering better search, more complete answers, a new chat experience and the ability to generate content.

How the New Bing with ChatGPT Features Functions?

The redefined Bing offers a summary of the answer for the question asked instead of overwhelming the user with options. Some of the things that users can ask Bing to do are as follows:

• How to create a three course menu.
• Creating an itinerary for  a party.
• How to get fit.
• Write a rhyming poem or essay.
• Help in writing a code.
• Help create a quiz.

AI will fundamentally change every software category, starting with the largest category of all – search,” said Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, Microsoft while adding that this new feature was introduced as out of 10 billion search queries a day more than half go unanswered as people are using search to do things that it has not been designed for. While search is undoubtedly great to find websites, it is unable to help users with complex questions or tasks.

New Features Introduced on Microsoft Edge

Apart from the new Bing, the Microsoft Edge browser has also been powered with the new AI capabilities and two new functionalities. Edge can now chat and compose, wherein users can ask the browser for complicated questions such as summary of a lengthy financial report to get the key takeaways. Further, the chat functionality is capable enough comparing this financial report to a competing company’s financials and can also automatically put it in a table.

How to Access the New Bing with ChatGPT Features?

Users can access the new Bing by join the waitlist using their email addresses. Once they clear the waitlist, users will receive an email letting them know that they would be able to access the new Bing at Bing.com. The new Bing is also available in the chat experience, found at the top of search results.
