ISRO Recruitment 2019: NESAC Announces 10 Scientist and Technical Assistant Vacancies, Salary up to Rs 1,77,500

ISRO recruitment 2019 for engineers

ISRO recruitment 2019 is being conducted once again, and this time it is by the autonomous institute under Department of Space (DOS), the North Eastern Space Applications Centre (NESAC). Although the recruitment is primarily being conducted for NESAC, Umiam, the notification clearly mentions that the selected candidates would be liable to be posted at any ISRO or DOS centres across the country. The selected candidates would be eligible for a pay of Rs 56,100 to 1,77,500 for the Scientist/ Engineer SC posts, and Rs 44,900 to 1,42,400 for the Technical Assistant post.

Who can Apply for the ISRO Recruitment 2019?

As per the notification available on the NESAC website, and there are eight Scientist or Engineers SC vacancies and two Technical Assistant vacancies. For the Scientist vacancies both engineers with a BTech/MTech/ME degree as well as postgraduates with an MSc can apply and based on the positions available, the following are the degrees required: Applied Geology, Geological Technology, RS and GIS, Agriculture in Horticulture, Agricultural Physics, Crop Physiology, Plant Physiology, Agricultural Statistics, Remote Sensing and GIS with specialization in Agriculture and/or Soils Science, Physics, Applied Physics, Atmospheric Science, Earth System Science, Water Resources, Hydrology, Watershed Management, Civil Engineering or Agriculture Engineering, Geoinformatics, CSE, IT, Botany, Electronics, Electronic and Communications, Tele-Communication Engineering, Electronic Design and Technology, and so on. The degrees have to be in first class with over 60 percent aggregate marks.

For the Technical Assistant posts, the following eligibility is required: First Class Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from an institute or university recognized by AICTE for one post and First class Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an institute or university recognized by AICTE for another post.

How to Apply for the ISRO Recruitment 2019?

The online application link will be hosted on the NESAC website from 5 August 2019 onwards until 16 September 2019 3 pm IST. The only mode of application is online. There is also a non-refundable online application fee that needs to be paid online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking through Integrated SBI Collect Facility. There are also several other terms and conditions related to the posts, for which candidates are advised to go through the notification available on the official NESAC website in detail before applying for the jobs.
