ISRO has today invited school students to take an online quiz to stand a chance to watch the Chandrayaan 2 landing on the moon live from Bengaluru along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Participate and get a chance to watch the Landing of #Chandrayaan2 on the Moon live along with Honorable PM Narendra Modi,” says a tweet from the official ISRO Twitter handle.
The online quiz will be hosted on mygov.in, and the link for the same has been shared by ISRO. The quiz will be a timed one and twenty questions need to be answered within 300 seconds. Those who provide maximum correct answers will be judged as winners.
How to take part in ISRO Quiz?
Interested students from class 8 to 10 need to first create an individual account on MyGov to appear for the Quiz. An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz. The quiz once started cannot be paused; however, students will be allowed to skip a question and come back to it later within the permitted time.
Each participant, irrespective of whether they win or not, will receive a certificate of participation which can be downloaded from ‘Downloads Section’of MyGov Quiz platform. Two top-scoring Students from each State and Union Territory will be invited to ISRO, Bengaluru Centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the moon, live along with the Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, says the Mygov website.
In the case of multiple participants having given the same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner. Top scoring and shortlisted participants will be provided an online affidavit, as well as provide information such as their Parent’s or Guardian’s name, Government-issued proof of identity containing the address and an affidavit from the school confirming that they are students of the school.
