ISRO recruitment 2019 for Engineers and Scientists has begun. Since the Indian Space Research Organisation is a premier institute that everyone wants to be associated with, engineers look forward to ISRO job openings each year. The online application process that opened up on 26 December 2018 will end on the 15th of January 2019.
Who Can Apply for ISRO Recruitment 2019
BE and BTech graduates with over 65 percent aggregate marks in civil, mechanical (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning), electrical, and electronics engineering as well as Bachelor Degree in Architecture can apply for the various vacancies that are available. The candidates should not exceed 35 years on 15 January 2019.
However, the age restriction is 40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, against posts reserved for these categories. Candidates who are going to complete the above mentioned courses in the academic year 2018 to 2019 are also eligible to apply, provided the final degree is available by August 2019, as per the ISRO official website.
How to Apply For ISRO Jobs
The interested candidates can apply for the job openings directly on the link hosted on ISRO website. The applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 through Net Banking, Debit card, pre-printed SBI Challans or credit card. Based on the performance in the Written Test, candidates will be short-listed for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be notified later. The candidates who are selected will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs 56,100 per month.
Based on the academic performance and documents submitted, candidates will be shortlisted for a written test that will be conducted in twelve venues namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram.
ISRO has also cautioned people to not fall prey to fake advertisements of ISRO job openings that are sent via email and other means.
