IIT Recruitment 2019: Multiple Vacancies for Engineers and Graduates at IIT Delhi, Salary up to Rs 50,000

IIT recruitment 2019 is currently underway at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), and there are multiple vacancies in different departments for which candidates can apply based on their qualifications. There are various jobs for engineers, graduates, and postgraduates of relevant streams. Selected candidates will be eligible for a salary of around Rs 50,000 plus house rent allowance.

Who can Apply for the IIT Recruitment 2019?

As mentioned before, there are multiple vacancies in different departments of IIT Delhi. Some of the vacancies are as follows: The department of GATE has two vacancies of which one is for senior project assistant for which candidates with a BTech, BE, or MCA or equivalent can apply. The candidate is also required to have at least 3 years' experience in the actual conduct of National Level Computer-based examinations and meetings in a government office or in educational institutions or in business organizations of repute. There is another vacancy for a project assistant for which candidates with a graduate degree and the above-mentioned experience can apply. These positions will be available on a contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates would be required to attend a walk-in-interview on 8 August 2019 and the timing for senior project assistant is 11 am IST, and project assistant is 2 pm IST, as per the notification.

There is also another vacancy at the Department of Mechanical Engineering for candidates with a BTech with GATE qualification, MSc with NET/SET qualification, or MCA with GATE qualification with first class or equivalent in the appropriate engineering discipline with good management skills and knowledge of interchange development activities and swap-based technologies. The requirement of qualifying NET, SET, or GATE qualification may be relaxed by the Committee in case of highly meritorious candidates, says the IIT recruitment 2019 notification. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the project scientist vacancy on 6 August 2019 at 3 pm IST.

Furthermore, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has 9 vacancies for engineers, postgraduates and doctorate degree holders for which candidates need to apply before 31 July 2019.

How to Apply for IIT Recruitment 2019?

Interested and eligible candidates of Indian nationality need to bring a formal application on Form No. IRD/REC-4, which can be downloaded from IRD Website through proper channel along with complete information regarding educational qualifications indicating percentage of marks of each examination passed, details of work experience and a recent passport size photograph, along with original certificates (both academic and professional) for verification on the date of interview, says the IIT Delhi website.
