IIT Jodhpur Campus to be Inaugurated Today by PM Modi

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur was established in 2008 along with the seven other IITs in the country. Today, PM Modi will inaugurate the campus of IIT Jodhpur. The institute is situated on the Jodhpur- Nagpur highway spread over 852 acres of land.

IIT Jodhpur is a futuristic institute that provides high-quality education with a holistic learning approach. It also supports innovation, cutting-edge research and deep tech initiatives that help to promote the potential of the students studying under the institute as well as give a boost to the country's economy.

The institute campus is composed of ten departments, three schools, five centres and six interdisciplinary programs all working towards the betterment of students. As institute claims that it is one of the best-planned technical campuses in the country that supports the concept of sustainability while nurturing moral human values, striving for excellence and producing future leaders.

The academic curriculum offered by IIT Jodhpur aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and offers an array of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in fields like Clean Energy, Artificial Intelligence, Bioengineering and many more.

Apart from that, IIT Jodhpur and AIIMS Jodhpur collaborate together to offer a unique joint degree programme in medical technologies. There's a compulsory social connect programme running in the institute that allows students and faculty to work on scientific projects for the benefit of society and rural areas.
