DRDO apprenticeship 2023 has been announced at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS). Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) centre INMAS is basically involved in nuclear medicine research and responding to nuclear accidents and explosions. The centre has announced 38 apprentice vacancies wherein selected candidates will be engaged for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961,1973 and 2014.
Who Can Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2023?
The latest DRDO notification issued on the official website says that candidates with the following qualifications may apply for the 38 apprentice positions:
For the 20 diploma apprentice positions, candidates with the following qualifications can apply:

There are 18 graduate apprentice vacancies for which candidates with the following qualifications can apply:

The notification mentions that only freshly passed out candidates who have passed their respective courses in the year 2020 or later can apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2020 and also candidates with higher qualifications such as post-graduation degree are not eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates with over one year work experience after attaining the degrees are also not eligible to apply.
How to Apply for DRDO Apprenticeship 2023?
Candidates who are eligible to apply for the diploma apprentice vacancies will have to be enrolled on the MHRDNATS portal and then apply through the establishment name using the user id NDLNOC000005. The notification mentions that non-registered candidates will be rejected. The last date to submit applications will be 22 February 2023. However, as far as the candidates who wish to apply for the graduate apprentice vacancies are concerned, they will have to send an application directly to email hrd.inmas@gov.in in the application format as given in the DRDO website.
Important Details of the DRDO Apprenticeship 2023
Candidates need to keep in mind the following important details on the vacancies:
- Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in their essential qualification.
- The board at INMAS will go through the submitted applications, and only shortlisted candidates will be informed.
- Candidates will be engaged only for a period of 12 months, and no employment will be offered after that.
- The selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation and travel, and INMAS will not be providing it to apprentices.
