Yahoo Going Google Way

Marissa Mayer, Yahoo! newly appointed CEO has moved to Yahoo, but continues to work in the manner Google (her previous employer) used to work. As per reports, she is reviewing every single appointment in the organization.

Considering the expanding size of Yahoo! with 15000 employees already on board, this definitely does not seem to be an easy task. This trick has worked for Google over the years but will this work for Yahoo! or not has to be seen in future. But in current situation, as per company resources this has slowed down the process of hiring in a considerable manner.

This initiative of Mayer is getting mixed reviews from its employees. Her other initiatives after joining on the board includes free food and availability of smartphones to the company employees.
