Other vendors have compounded matters by adding software to storage controllers, which are quickly becoming bottlenecks to application processing.

What is Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) technology? How can it help enterprises to optimize their storage infrastructure?

Representing a new way to acquire and scale storage, ISE is a high performance 3U (or 5.25 inches of vertical rack space) storage blade that can be deployed anywhere in the physical or virtual data center. Based on Xiotechs patented storage innovations, ISE sets new standards for data storage. ISE is designed to meet the performance, linear scalability, and reliability demands of enterprise exchange 2010 deployments, regardless of size.
