While the topline jumped 50%, including revenues from BPO, its bottom line
nearly doubled to Rs 86 crore. The entire revenue came from exports, and IT
services continued to be the mainstay business. This business was primarily
driven by customer service and payment services, with some revenue coming from
utilities, finance and accounting, and HR. The company focused on the European
market, which yielded around 97% of the business-with the US market
contributing just 3%. It also added 929 new employees, taking the total
headcount to 2,815. Investments into print as well as outdoor advertising gave
the requisite marketing push.
