He said that within the next five years, smart doctors will be able to create more effect. Essentially, technology has changed everything. We know very little about the human body. The most complex area for innovators to conquer is the human body. What is required will dramatically change the way healthcare is delivered. The mortality will go down significantly. Technology can transform healthcare.

The IT industry started sending people out 30 years ago. Can we be the medical cares for the world? Dr. Shetty said there are great opportunities for Indian healthcare providers. Attitude is everything! No American doctor wants to work outside their country. Indian doctors will go any place to gather knowledge. They will broaden their horizons. They are supported by a technology platform. If we look at cost today, we spend more money to keep ourselves healthy.

We had to import PPE initially. Can we also develop devices? Dr. Shetty said, the cost of everything changes! We have developed Aatma and Veda. When you convert atoms into bytes, great things happen. You have enough money to build an empire of medical technology. It works with software. When you replace moving parts with PCBs, the cost can come down.

There are many things that can be done. We have to look at what is important for the working class and poor. You may not make money in the short term, but in the long term, you will improve. All these intellectuals gathered, we want them to analyze why we are struggling. Education is the only way out of poverty. It is all about the skills. After 10th standard, almost all children are dependent on their parents for education.

We should create a stream where they can work in respective industries, they will get educated. We need to remove the parent paying factor from education, we cannot become a developed country. Cost of nursing is over Rs. 2-3 lacs. Government colleges are only allowed to conduct ANM or auxiliary nursing midwifery courses. I am happy to pay for their education if they can work in the hospital. 10th standard onwards, students should pay for their education. They are also getting trained. Wonderful, skilled people are the need of the hour!
