"The current situation, post the Hurricane Sandy hit the eastern coast today is volatile, however, there has been no impact to WNS - US premises, and no casualties have been reported", says the WNS spokesperson. There seems to be no impact on company operations, power supply infrastructure and telecommunications.

Responding to government alerts on impending threats the company has closed its sales office in New Jersey on Monday and Tuesday, as that is one of the areas in the Eastern coast that's under trouble. "We will further review the situation and take necessary actions post assessment of the impact on Tuesday" the spokesperson adds.

These are the precautionary measures WNS has put in place to ensure safety across all its delivery centers:

Proactively communicating with the telecom service provider and ensuring alternate arrangements have been made and will be used in the event of any breakdown. Ensuring, the service provider's employees are on standby to respond to any crisis in the event any network equipment is endangered with adequate redundancies in place. As of now, the telecommunication services are not impacted.

Although the company's Point Of Presence (POP) on the east coast has not yet been impacted, owing to the multi layer power back-up etc, it is closely observing the situation and would take necessary actions in case of any potential impact.

Also, constantly monitoring phone calls to its office and keeping the callers, including employees and clients, well updated.

At WNS, we value our employees and clients, thus, we are prepared to take appropriate actions in case of an occurrence of any impact due to the hurricane "SANDY", says the spokesperson.
