A strange WhatsApp no valid QR code issue has been reported by several users who claim that they are unable to use WhatsApp web due to this problem. Several users have been taking to Twitter to check if others have also been facing the same problem. Users trying to log into their desktops and use WhatsApp web are getting a message that displays “No Valid QR code detected”. While there is no official word on the matter from the Meta-owned platform, according to users the issue has still not been resolved.
What is the WhatsApp No Valid QR Code Issue?
The issue, which seems to have started two days ago, is giving rise to a message called “No Valid QR code detected” when ever users try to scan the code on the WhatsApp Web portal to check their messages. "What's Happening WhatsApp? From the last two days, while scanning the web whatsapp QR code, we are getting a message that says "no valid QR code detected" and then does not allow us to enter into web WhatsApp service,” says a user.
“Team, I am trying to access WhatsApp Web on Desktop when trying to access QR Code an error that says Not a valid QR Code arises. I have tried on another PC, and it is giving the same error, please assist,” says another user.
WhatsApp web is a functionality of the free messaging platform that allows users to access their chats on a desktop or laptop. All users need to do is scan the QR code through their mobile to access their messages on the laptop, desktop or tablet of their choice. While the issue is being faced by new users, the feature seems ti be functioning seamlessly for those who have already logged in to their WhatsApp web accounts.
