WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are Down, Companies Issue Statement

WhatsApp is currently down for millions of users across the world who taken to social media to state the problem

WhatsApp is currently down for several users across the world who have been writing on social media about the problem. Users are unable to connect to the platform to send messages, videos or pictures. The company has now issued a statement acknowledging the issue.

“We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience,” says a statement from the official account of WhatsApp.

Apart from WhatsApp, Instagram ans Facebook are also experiencing issues. “Instagram and friends are having a little bit of a hard time right now, and you may be having issues using them. Bear with us, we’re on it, said the official Twitter account of Instagram.

Facebook has also issued a similar statement saying “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

The problem, which seems to have originated an hour ago, is yet to be resolved. WhatsApp down is currently trending on Twitter with thousands of tweets and memes stating the issue.
