The WhatsApp Business app seems to have suffered a minor outage for sometime. WhatsApp down was trending on Twitter, with several users asking each other if they too were facing the WhatsApp outage. Several users from India too reported the same. “WhatsApp for Business has been down for a few – feels like a whole business shutdown,” tweets a user.
“Whatsapp Business app Not Working,” says another user from India. Based on the screenshots and messages sent by users, they seem to have had a problem in sending and receiving messages.
A user has even shared a screenshot from the Down Detector website, which indeed shows that a few countries including India and Malaysia may have suffered due the WhatsApp outage. However, the services seem to have been restored now and users have begun to tweet stating the same. “WhatsApp Business getting down in India randomly in times. For now working normally,” says a user. “Whatsapp Business in Specific was Down for Around 30 minutes, Working fine Now,” says another user.
Nevertheless, neither has Facebook nor WhatsApp acknowledged any such outage so far. The outage may not even be a grave one as several users have even stated that it was working fine for them. WhatsApp recently suffered a global outage this month, due to which users faced trouble in sending and downloading photos, videos and voice messages. Similar issues were faced by users of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well. The outage was restored after several hours for users across the globe.
