What are the new features of Frame Maker 8.0 and how different
is it from the earlier versions?
The new Frame Maker is powered with rich media enhancements that enable
experts and trainers to enhance static documents to create more engaging and
interactive content. The unicode support anchor facilitates authors to
effortlessly publish a single document in multiple languages.
Frame Maker 8.0 also streamlines the technical documentation
process. Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) simplifies writing,
reviewing, publishing and exchanging topic-oriented information in XML, and the
creation of DITA maps. Technical documents are now easily maintained, shared and
updated.

This PCPBU product is completely designed and engineered by the Indian R&D

What is Adobes investment plans in India, especially the
R&D centers in Noida and Bangalore?
India is very critical to Adobes strategy, and long-term growth and
success. One of the five business units, Print and Classic Publishing Business
Unit, is managed from India. The India team is responsible for product strategy,
product direction, business development, marketing, and profit and loss of the
BU.
Several products and technologies are completely developed at
the India campuses. In fact, almost all products shipped out of Adobe would have
some components developed out of India. Adobe has also filed a large number of
patents from India over the last nine years.
At present, the Noida and Bangalore offices have an overall
capacity to seat 1,300 people and with new campuses, we hope to reach a capacity
of around 2,000 people.
