Can you give us an overview of your offerings for the Indian

market?



Intelligent Business Systems is new for India, but we have been there in the
UK for a long time. We are the only company in India providing AI-based

solution. We deal with intelligent customer profiling and advertising (ICPA)

which is our core technology. It looks at the customer in a particular system or

enterprise and help enterprise react in time. We have implemented this for one

of our clients in India. We built a system for our clients' workflow

management to reduce the overhead of their business and overall operating cost.

Their earlier enterprise system used to take almost 3 to 4 days to respond. Now

it is almost real time.

Where do you see yourself as compared to other BI companies?



IBS is the first company that has fully integrated the online with offline
marketing. However, we are not trying to replace CRM or ERP. Other companies'

offerings are sources to collect data. They fail to analyze and convert the data

into knowledge. We convert these CRM and ERP data into knowledge. Google

provides you with results on the basis of keywords you type, but it does not

analyze the data. They have certain pre-defined rules or case based reasoning.

They do not have the adaptability. We install a system that has no rules for

data. It learns from the data and frames its own rules. Most of the BI companies

are mostly into reporting. What they do maximum is converting data into

information. ICP engine is based out of the neural network that we have

developed. IBS is a fully privately held company. We are one of the very few

startups with no venture funding.

Some of your main products?



ICPA is our main product in the main domain. Other product is enterprise
management system (EMS). Our EMS provides best-of-breed functionality built for

complete integration, industry-specific functionality, unlimited scalability,

and easy collaboration over the Internet.

What are your plans on the education front?



We have launched IBS Education (IBSE) as a subsidiary of Intelligent
Business Systems in India. IBSE intends to bring to India state-of-the-art

research-based education and training in the areas of artificial intelligence

and robotics. IBSE will offer short-term, customised courses for corporates and

long-term graduate and postgraduate level degrees in areas such as computational

neuroscience, intelligent systems and computational intelligence.
