Defence Research and Development Organisation(DRDO) is inviting young talents to pursue defense-related research work in the prestigious Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL). The Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL) is one of the premier research laboratories of DRDO, it has recently released an advertisement for the positions of Junior Research Fellowships(JRF). Candidates are invited for a walk-in interview for the positions that will take place on the 8th and 10th of August in Hyderabad.
DRDL is actively involved in the research and development of missile systems for the Indian Armed Forces. And in its effort to foster young talents in the field of defence research, DRDL is inviting applications from potential and talented young Indian nationals to join the institution as Junior Research Fellows.

How to apply for the DRDL DRDO fellowship?
Candidates interested to apply for the position can download the application form from the official website of DRDO and fill it in the prescribed manner. Applicants need to attach self-attested copies of various documents along with their application, including
- Degree or Provisional certificate
- Birth Certificate
- Marksheet
- GATE score card
- NOC (if applicable) and other testimonials
What is the selection process for the DRDL DRDO fellowship?
After the submission of applications, eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE score and the percentage of marks obtained in their minimum qualifying degree.
Here, the GATE paper and subject of the qualifying degree must be related to the subject or discipline against which the candidate is applying. Candidates with working experience in the relevant subject area will be given preference.
If candidates get selected for the position of JRF they will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.31000/- along with House Rent Allowance(HRA) as per DRDO rules.
