Vodafone Network Down Yet Again for Several Users

Vodafone network has been down for users in Bangalore and other areas from the past several minutes, and the company has acknowledged the problem

Vodafone network has reportedly been down for users in Bangalore as well as other areas from the past several minutes. The issue had still not been resolved at the time this story was published. Users reported having faced problems in sending and receiving calls, messages and even data.

“I am at the Vodafone store at Mahavir nagar Kandivali west . Here they have no answer as to when my service will be back to normal,” says Aijaz Rizvi. “Vodafone network just disappeared in my area. No phones working for anyone. Kumaraswamy Layout, BENGALURU, KARNATAKA,” tweets Kushal ST.

“None of the Vodafone Postpaid numbers have Tower.. Completely No Range from Past 5 mins,” tweets Suhas CS indicating that the problem has affected both prepaid and postpaid customers. Vodafone has acknowledged the problem saying “Hi! This is a temporary issue, our team is working on it to ensure seamless network connectivity. Please allow us sometime to get this sorted.”

Based on the messages being circulated on social media, the problem seems to have affected users in Karnataka in particular. “Why are most of the vodafone network turned off ? Missing in lot of important calls. Many of my friends are also facing the same issue,” says Mahesh M.

However, as of now, there is still no clarity on when the issue may be resolved. Furthermore, users are also advised not to share their personal numbers while tweeting on the issue. “For your privacy, we request you to delete the tweet as it contains your personal information and it can be viewed by anybody,” says Vodafone to a consumer who tweeted their number.   (Update: Services seem to have been restored around 4 pm IST)
