Vodafone Down: Network to Resume in 3 Hours Says Company

Vodafone has gone down across several cities across Maharashtra, with users complaining of lack of connectivity and Internet since last night. Furious viewers have been trending Vodafone down on Twitter as they have been inconvenienced due to the lack of network. Vodafone Idea, which is now Vi, has acknowledged the issue and have said that the network should be restored within three hours.

The company says that the problem has stemmed out of consistent rains and water logging in key areas. “Heavy rain in Pune has resulted in flooding of some areas including one of our key sites in the city. This has caused partial disruption in services for some customers. Our technical team is working dedicatedly to fully restore services soon. We regret the inconvenience caused to our customers,” says teh official account of Vi.

One customer care executive adds that this is a temporary issue, and the network should be completely restored in three hours. “This is a temporary issue, our team is working on it to ensure seamless network connectivity. Please allow us some time to get this sorted. Approx time 3 hours,” says the message.

In the meanwhile, customers have been constantly complaining of various issues that are cropping up due to the lack of connectivity under the hashtag Vodafone Down. The issue has also given rise to hilarious memes.

Nevertheless, other customers have been asking the company to sought this problem out as soon as possible. “Vodafone down all over Maharashtra and team is working. Network main switch under water due to heavy rain yesterday Emergency started due to water logging in basement. Please be vigil. Anything coming for that needs to be done on priority,” says Abhishek, a Vi customer.
