Darshana Pai, vice president and head of the Hyderabad Delivery Center for Virtusa Corporation, has been recognized by IACC (Indo American Chamber of Commerce) as the Best Woman Corporate Leader in a US company in India. The award was presented at the 9th Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards (I-ACE 2013) ceremony held yesterday.
Pai received the award for her contributions under the criteria of promoting Indo-US Trade, Financial Excellence, Corporate Social Responsibility, Development of Human Capital and their impact on the respective markets.
This coveted award was presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Prithviraj Chavan.
Pai, while accepting the award said, "This award goes to all the colleagues who have put in relentless efforts to contribute to Virtusa's growth. We thank the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce for this honor and recognition of our contributions to the Indo-US trade market."
