DQ: Tell us about Viral Pitch and the services that your company offers?
Sumit Gupta: Viral Pitch was established in 2020, has 25+ brands and more than 20k creators on board & growing every minute at the speed of a typhoon. We are indeed, the best matchmaker in town. We use in depth data analysis and technology to help our clients in the influencer selection process.
Additionally, we are not just an influencer marketing platform but an agency where you get everything: be it concept ideation, pre/post campaign analysis, influencer metrics, brand campaign dashboard etc.
DQ: What were the company’s goals and objectives when it was founded? In a nutshell, tell us about your journey since the company’s foundation?
Sumit Gupta: See, it wasn’t like there were no influencer marketing agencies before or the campaigns weren’t happening. But, there was a dearth of platforms that can assist brands in influencer selections and campaign management. That is when Viral Pitch was set up. The platform has everything one requires to plan out a collaboration: be it influencer metrics, brand insights, present scenario of brands on Instagram and much more. Since then, what has been differentiating us is that most of the other influencer marketing agencies are either creator- or technology-driven.
We have laid out specific and distinct strategies for both brands and creators. For brands, we take care of everything under the sun from Right influencer selection to creative ideation, to pre and post campaign analysis, content mapping, end-to-end influencer management platform, etc. Similarly, for creators as well, Viral Pitch offers to showcase their profiles to the right brands helping them to monetize their social media handles. Creators can also research about their most relevant metrics like engagement rates, average likes and comments, best time to post, top trending posts, etc., which helps them to do better in their future.
DQ: What are your growth plans for the year ahead?
Sumit Gupta: Our priority will be more in the lines of growing our business and taking it to the overseas market. In addition to this, to cater to global projects, we are also expanding our team across all levels and departments. Innovation has always been the core of our business, combined with sharp creative instincts, and we will work more towards generating higher impact through thoughtfully conceptualized and remarkable campaigns that generate more value for the brands and clients we work for. We wish to become the market leader in our chosen niche that leads with content, creativity, values and examples.
DQ: What were the major challenges the company has faced till now?
Sumit Gupta: Conceptualizing the product in a manner that creates ‘value’ for influencers and brands at the same time was one of the most daunting tasks when we started setting up the things. We took help from our partner brands and influencers to ensure that we keep adding features which are critical and useful from their perspective.
