What are the new technology trends in videoconferencing?

There are two major technology trends impacting this industry. The first

trend is the emergence of unified communications. The proliferation of IP is

making three different technologiesvideo, voice, and datamerge. IP is making

more bandwidth available and unified communications is making the technology

more accessible for the user. In the future, doing a video call will be as

natural as doing an audio call. Secondly, the quality of video has improved over

the last few years. The arrival of high-definition videoconferencing has taken

the experience to a new level and has introduced the user to new applications of

video.
