Verint Systems has announced that its Identity Authentication and Fraud Detection solution received a gold honor in the 13th Annual Info Security Products Guide Global Excellence Awards and specifically in the “authentication solution (multi, single or two-factor)” category of this year’s program. The Global Excellence Awards are designed to recognize extraordinary achievement in products and practices that help protect today’s organizations from data breaches.

Verint Identity Authentication and Fraud Detection applies recorder-embedded passive voice biometrics technology with multifactor metadata analytics to screen calls against the databases of both customer and known fraudster voiceprints. The combined solution helps authenticate legitimate customers faster, while identifying suspicious fraudster call behavior, therefore delivering the dual benefit of helping improve customer experiences and helping organizations reduce call handling costs and fraud-related losses.

“We’re delighted to be named a gold winner in the authentication category of this year’s program. There’s no question that fraud and risk associated with data and security breaches is a serious and growing issue that both consumers and organizations face,” says John Goodson, SVP and general manager, products, Verint. “Solutions designed specifically to counter these issues continue to be an area of strength for Verint, and we are pleased to be working with customers around the world to help safeguard their businesses and their customers’ assets.”
