DRDO's Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL) in Dehradun has announced a walk-in interview for a one-year ITI Apprenticeship for the 2025-26 session. The positions are available for various trades, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 7,000.
The final selection is contingent upon online approval of the contract by RDSDE, Dehradun.

Who can apply?
Candidates who have passed their ITI in one of the specified trades are eligible to apply. Those who are taking their final examination in 2025 can also apply, but their joining will be finalised only after they submit a passing result. The age of the applicant must be between
14 and 35 years on the day the contract begins. Applicants need to note that completing this apprenticeship does not guarantee any future employment with DEAL or DRDO.
How to apply and the selection criteria?
The process begins with an online application through the website. Only candidates who apply online during the specified period will be allowed to participate in the walk-in interview. The online application's self-attested hard copy will serve as the admit card for the interview.
During the walk-in interview, candidates must bring several documents. These include the self-attested hard copy of their online application, a passport-sized colour photo, and an ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, voter card, or driver's license. Additionally, they need to bring original and self-attested copies of their 10th and ITI educational certificates, proof of birth date, income, and category certificates (Gen/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD).
The final selection is subject to the online approval of the contract by RDSDE, Dehradun. If the contract is not approved due to any document discrepancies, the apprenticeship will be cancelled, and the Director, DEAL, will not be responsible.
