What are the eligibility criteria for the DRDO apprenticeship 2025? 

Candidates interested in taking up given roles and et hands-on experience from DRDO should adhere to the following eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must have completed their qualifications in 2022, 2023, or 2024.
  • Only the regular mode of education is acceptable. Distance learning or part-time courses are not valid.

  • Candidates must be registered on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.

  • Applicants who have already undergone apprenticeship training or possess more than one year of work experience after qualifying are not eligible.

  • Maximum age limit: 28 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

How to apply for the DRDO apprenticeship 2025?

  1. Visit the official DRDO website.

  2. Download the application form from the “What’s New” section.

  3. Fill the application form carefully and attach all relevant self-attested documents (educational certificates, proof of date of birth, caste certificate, etc.).

  4. Send the completed application form via post to the following address:

  5. The envelope must be clearly superscribed with the name of the subject/discipline applied for.

  • Apprenticeship will be for a fixed duration of one year and will not lead to employment with DRDO.

  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview or joining.

  • Selected candidates must sign an apprenticeship agreement as per the Apprenticeship Act.

  • Apprenticeship training will be conducted either at DESIDOC, Metcalfe House, Delhi or at DP&C, DRDO HQ, New Delhi.

  • Accommodation, transport, or hostel facilities will not be provided.
