UPSC Recruitment 2020: Engineers can Apply for 66 Vacancies, Salary Level 7 in Pay Matrix

UPSC recruitment 2020 notification has been issued for as many as 134 vacancies of Assistant Engineer, Medical Officer or Research Officer, Anthropologist, Assistant Library and Information Officer, Scientist ‘B’, Senior Divisional Medical Officer and Specialist Grade III. Out of these vacancies, engineers can apply online for 66 openings in various departments. Selected candidates would be eligible for a salary that equates to Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Who can Apply for UPSC Recruitment 2020?

As per the official UPSC recruitment 2020 notification, there are a total of eleven vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Armament (Ammunition), Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence for which candidates with a Master’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry from a recognized university or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or Production from a recognized university or institute can apply.

There are also thirty nine vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Electronics), in the same department for candidates with a Master’s Degree in Science in one of subjects such as Physics, Electronics, Physics (with Electronics) from a recognized university or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines such as Electrical, Electronics, Electronics and Electrical, Electronics and Tele Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation from a recognized University or Institute.

Furthermore, there are fourteen vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) Armament (Weapons) in the same department for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in one of the disciplines such as Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Process and Automation Engineering, Production Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

There are also Two vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil), Department of Northern Eastern Council Secretariat, Shillong for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
