The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened registration for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2024. It is a national-level examination for the position of geoscientists and others that is administered by UPSC.
Candidates will be appointed on Grade 'A' and Grade 'B' postings through this examination and will be employed by the Geological Survey of India (GSI) under the Government of India.

- "Click on Part I" of the Combined Geoscientist Pre Examination from the list.
- Select "new registration" and complete the registration procedure.

What is the selection process?
The applicants eligible for the examination will go through three stages during their UPSC Combined Geoscientist examination. The candidates must pass both the preliminary and main examinations to qualify for the final interview stage.
Shortlisted candidates who have qualified for prelims and mains examinations will be called for the final interview. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of their performance in all three stages.
