University of Arizona introduces MS in Information Science: Machine Learning with Great Learning

The University of Arizona in collaboration with Great Learning, has introduced the new, fully online M.S. in Information Science: Machine Learning. This 21-month program is designed for early career, mid and senior-level professionals by leading experts at the University of Arizona and practicing industry professionals.

The program will equip professionals with the knowledge to design information-driven solutions for business problems and develop effective management frameworks for the future. With live online classes and recorded lectures, the program includes 11 hands-on projects and dedicated mentorship sessions to enhance the learning experience of learners.  

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for information research and computer scientists are projected to grow by 22%  by 2030.  Information Science is one of the fastest-growing domains in the tech world today, especially given the total amount of digital data created worldwide will rise to 163 zettabytes by 2025 as per the IDC. It will become imperative for businesses to hire professionals with the know-how of managing and analyzing data with the latest technologies. Learners will gain the specialized skills needed to solve real-world information management challenges and graduate with the qualifications needed for in-demand roles including information architect, database administrator, data scientist/engineer, digital artists, software programmer/engineer, web programmer etc.
