UGC NET 2021 Postponed Due to Rising COVID-19 Cases In India

UGC NET 2021 exams which were scheduled to be held in May have been postponed by the Ministry of Education due to the rising COVID-19 cases in India

UGC NET 2021 for the December 2020 cycle that were scheduled to be held between 2 and 17 May 2021 have been postponed the Ministry of Education due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The computer based examinations covering 81 subjects will be held once the situation in conducive to hold exams, and the schedule will be announced 15 days before the day of exam.

This decision has been announced by Dr Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal, Union Minister of Education, Government of India. “Keeping in mind the safety and well-being of candidates and exam functionaries during COVID19outbreak, I have advised the National Testing Agency to postpone the UGC-NET Dec 2020 cycle (May 2021) exams. Dear all, I request to you stay safe and follow all necessary precautions for COVID-19,” he said. The official notification with regard to the same is as follows:
