UGC NET 2021 Application Form Goes Live: Check Important Details

UGC NET 2021 application form has gone live, and interested students can submit forms starting from 2 February to 2 March 2021, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Education, Government of India has just announced. The examinations will be held on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 May 2021, added the minister.

“National Testing Agency will conduct next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 17 May 2021. Read circular attached for more info! Good luck to all participants,” said the minister on his official Twitter handle. The NTA, and UGC NET websites have now been updates with the latest information.

UGC NET 2021 Application Form, and Other Important Details

• The NTA will conduct the next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor and the test will comprise of two papers to be conducted in two shifts namely 9:00 am to 12:00 pm IST and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm IST.
• The questions in Paper I intends to assess the teaching or research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
• The questions in Paper II will be based on the subject selected by the candidate and will assess domain knowledge.
• The last date for submission of application fee is 3 March 2021, and the fee is Rs 1000 for General candidates, Rs 500 for Gen-EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and Rs 250 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) and third gender.

How to Submit UGC NET 2021 Application Form?

Interested candidates need to do the following to submit their UGC NET 2021 application form:

• Register for using email ID and mobile number and note down system generated application number.
• Complete the online application form and note down the system generated application number.
• Upload legible scanned images ofa recent photograph in jpg or jpeg file, size 10Kb to 200Kb either in colour or black and white with 80% face without mask including ears against a white background, and candidate’s signature of file size: 4kb to 30kb.
• Online application fee needs to be paid, and proof of fee paid needs to be preserved.
