The last date for submission of online application for UGC NET 2020 and other examinations stands extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the Coronavirus crisis in India. The decision to extend the dates was just announced by Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India.
“Due to Coronavirus Outbreak, NTA has released the extended/revised dates of submission of Online Application Forms for Examinations listed below:
- National Council for Hotel Management (NCHM) JEE-2020
- IGNOU Admission Test-2020 for Ph.D. & Open Mat (MBA)
- ICAR-2020
- JNU Entrance Examination (JNUEE)
- UGC-NET-June 2020
- 6.CSIR-NET-June 2020
- All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2020
The requisite fee can be paid through Credit/Debit Card/ Net Banking/UPI and Paytm,” tweeted the minister.
NTA says that this decision was taken in view of the hardships faced by the parents and the students due to COVID-19 epidemic.

National Council for Hotel Management (NCHM) JEE-2020: 30 April 2020
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Admission Test-2020 for Ph.D. and Open Mat (MBA): 30 April 2020
Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR 2020: 30 April 2020
Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination JNUEE 2020: 30 April 2020
UGC-National Eligibility Test (June) UGC-NET 2020: 16 May 2020
CSIR-National Eligibility Test (June) CSIR-NET 2020: 15 May 2020
All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test AIAPGET2020: 31 May 2020
NTA says that thee detailed schedule mentioning revised dates of downloading of Admit Cards and of examination will be displayed separately on respective examination websites and the official NTA website, after assessing the situation on 15 April 2020. Students are advised to go through the official notification in detail.
