UCIL recruitment 2020 is currently underway at the Uranium Corporation of India Limited, Jaduguda for 244 apprentice vacancies. Ex-ITI or National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) candidates can apply for the trade apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act- 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules 1992. Candidates holding ITI certificates can apply for the apprenticeship training, and those selected will also be eligible for a monthly stipend payable as allowed by Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Who can Apply for UCIL Recruitment 2020?

The official notification issued on the Uranium Corporation of India Limited’s website says that matric or tenth class with a minimum of 50 % aggregate marks for unreserved, OBC or EWS candidates and 45 % aggregate marks for SC or ST candidates and ITI examination in the following trades with an aggregate of 60% marks qualified from NCVT can apply:

Selected candidates will be engaged on a temporary basis, and UCIL may choose not to employ apprentices on completion of training. Also, candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under Apprentice Act, 1961 are not eligible to apply for the current enrolment.

How to Apply for UCIL Recruitment 2020?

Candidates who satisfy the required eligibility criteria would be required to send a typed application form in the format prescribed in the notification along with Xerox copies of relevant certificates by speed post to Uranium Corporation of India Limited before 10 December 2020. Selection of the candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in Matric and ITI.
