India’s very own fully immersive Virtual Reality (VR) product for the building industry is now available with its latest update, Trezi 1.8. It introduces a virtual collaboration system which is fully compatible with popular architecture design software, such as Sketchup, Rhino, and Autodesk’s Revit.
Trezi dramatically transforms design communication, and collaboration in the building industry by enabling stakeholders to experience the project’s design at full-scale. Launched in 2018, Trezi is the brainchild of the two co-founders, Tithi and Gautam Tewari.
Architects and interior designers use Trezi to bring their existing 3D design models into a fully immersive VR environment. It has reduced errors and omissions and minimal material wastage in prototyping and on-site experimentation cuts down the need for time- consuming personal meetings and site visits, Trezi adds a new dimension to the understanding, communication and translation of design in theindustry.
Trezi 1.8 takes the fully immersive virtual experience a few steps higher with its new collaboration feature that allows architects/designers to meet and engage with colleagues and collaborators in the virtual world. Irrespective of their geographical location, architects and interior designers can explore a true-to-scale rendition of their building or interior design and make edits in real-time, if desired.
Trezi 1.8 also introduces an exterior rendering mode which significantly improves the rendering quality of exterior scenes, and offers photo-realistic shadows, multi-source illumination, and minimal culling of objects from the scene. With the enhanced support for remote collaboration and audio add-ons in the pipeline, Trezi 1.8 is set to dramatically improve and raise the bar for design-based collaboration in the industry.
