In a recently conducted survey, we found out that about 17% of employers are keen to hire freshers. Employers are more inclined to hire job seekers with specialized skills and hence it is very critical for candidates to be equipped with these skills. Some of the key skills with increased demands are  Full Stack Developer, Data Analytics, Angular JS developer, React JS developer, Android Developer, Data Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure Technology developer, Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security , Mobile app development, amongst others.

Employability has been a bigger challenge than Employment in India and now with the increase in demand for skilled IT professionals due to higher technology adoption coupled with the impact of The Great Resignation, the demand is only going to increase continuously.

While hiring ready candidates is ideal for companies, many times getting the right skilled candidate at the right time gets difficult for the Talent Acquisition teams and hence Preparing Supply for Demand becomes imperative. A model that companies have started using is the Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) model , which if executed well will help all stakeholders. As for the job seekers, since there is a job at the end of the training program, candidates are serious about completing the learning program & certification and retention is also high for such candidates.

As technology changes the way we work and learn, the IT sector has adopted the HTD model to meet the every increasing demand of skilled workforce. Many other industries that can adopt this model are BFSI, FMCG, Ecommerce , Logistics, Healthcare amongst others. The HTD model caters to the staffing and learning requirements of companies, identify candidates , train them and make them job ready from the day of deployment.
