the significance of the five-million figure

When you reach a magic number of five or ten or something of that kind it
draws a lot of attention to the fact that something is growing. And it’s about
time we grew. The big thing is that there will be five million users who will
improve the productivity dramatically and who will have access to the Web among
other things. I think that is something to rejoice about.

On the future of the PC

The word, info appliance, today has several different directions from which
it is coming, one is from the cell phone direction, the other is from the
personal digital assistance direction and the third is from the PC direction.
And as far I can tell, there is a convergence from all three which is happening.
So people can carry one device which is multifunctional just as much a PC is.
