What are the technology advancements in virtualization?
Virtualization and tiered storage solutions together enable enterprises to strategically align their business applications with storage infrastructure. Storage virtualization, as implemented by Hitachi, allows non-disruptive data migrations, storage partitioning to isolate various workloads, and the attachment of other storage arrays (including non-Hitachi) to participate in this virtualized environment.
What is Hitachi Data Systems' competitive edge?
The core strength of Hitachi Data Systems lies in virtualization, thin provisioning, and cloud ready solutions. Our strategy is to provide a common virtualized platform for all data, structured and unstructured, with the ability to manage heterogenous environments. We are the only company that offers this for all open systems platforms and all data types.

What are some of the latest innovations happening at Hitachi Data Systems?
Hitachi has introduced a unique platform of both hardware and software, that delivers unprecedented levels of scalability and performance for data centers. CIOs require a data center designed for flexibility and efficiency, which can be addressed by the competitive management software like new Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) and the new Hitachi Command Suite (HCS).
