Speaking of Conduent India’s expansion journey Mr Lokesh said that even when other companies were downsizing last year, Conduent India was hiring in large numbers. The company grew its workforce by over 30 percent in the past year and even set up a new centre in Visakhapatnam, thus expanding their national footprint.

“We have over 12,000 employees in our India center, operating from 12 offices across eight cities. Our most recent expansion was in March in Visakhapatnam, where we have already added 500 employees. We grew from 9,000 employees in 2017 to over 12,000 in 2018, growing at over 30 percent. India is a key growth region for all of Conduent business that develops platforms and technologies for its global clients,” added Mr Lokesh.
