Tech Mahindra enters Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Index

Tech Mahindra, a provider in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering, has been ranked as one of the Top 3 companies in India and one of the Top 20 companies in Asia in the Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Ranking for Asia’s top businesses which was announced recently at the CSR Asia Summit in Hong Kong.

The ranking is a joint initiative between Channel NewsAsia, a prominent Asian TV news channel, Sustainalytics, an independent ESG and corporate governance research, ratings and analysis firm, and CSR Asia, a leading provider of advisory, research and training services on sustainable business practices in Asia. The index lists 100 companies, across 11 key Asian economies, with the highest sustainability performance and highlights the Top 20 companies and the Top 3 companies per economic entity. Territories covered include China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

The current results corroborates Tech Mahindra’s strategy towards driving our sustainability agenda where the company has taken specific measures such as investments in renewable energy and water reusability projects; focused investments in innovative solutions in green sustainability solutions sphere such as SMART-Cities concept, Micro Grid which helps our customers achieve their sustainability goals; investments in associate engagement  which has helped us towards associate well-being and creating a better talent pool.
