A portion of the media stated on Friday that TCS had compromised the hiring procedure at the Tata Group company by uncovering a multi-million dollar TCS job scam. The nation's top exporter of IT services reportedly fired four employees for breaking its code of conduct after an alleged Rs 100 crore bribe-for-job scandal surfaced there.

According to reports, TCS has blacklisted three staffing companies that hired people on a contract basis and ordered E S Chakravarthy, the director of its recruitment business Resource Management Group (RMG), on leave.

How was TCS Job Scam Discovered?

A whistleblower informed the company's CEO and COO that ES Chakravarthy, the worldwide head of RMG, had been collecting payments from the staffing companies involved in choosing applicants, which led to the discovery of the entire scandal. A three-person panel, directed by Chief Information Security Officer Ajit Menon, was assembled by the IT major to investigate the claims.
