TCS iON, Labour Ministry Offer Free Online Careers Skills Training: Here’s How to Take It

The Ministry of Labour and Employment in partnership with TCS iON is offering a free online Career Skills Training course to job seekers registered with the National Career Service (NCS) project. The training module is available for free in Hindi and English on the NCS portal. The self-paced online course on soft skills or career skills assists the learners in enhancing personality development.

What Will be Covered Under the TCS iON Free Online Career Skills Training?

The course consists of nine modules that aim to impart learners with knowledge on the following: Learn common business etiquette followed in a corporate setting, craft a professional email with impactful content and a strong subject line, understand how to create a winning resume and cover letter, enhance verbal and non-verbal communication skills, know why group discussions are conducted and learn to actively participate, learn how to prepare and make engaging and effective presentations, understand how to attend and ace corporate interviews, know the importance of soft skills to achieve better results, and understand etiquette to be followed during a work related telecall.

How to Enroll for the TCS iON Free Online Career Skills Training?

Interested candidates will have to be registered with the official NCS portal to access the course for free. Registered users who wish to take the course need to enter their username and password to start taking the course for free, while those who have not registered with the NCS portal so far can do so by signing up with the website.

To register with the portal, candidates will need to enter their personal details such as name, PAN or Aadhaar number, date of birth, email ID, mobile number and so on.
