TCS employees will be given a salary hike, and the increments for the financial year 2022 is expected to be in line with company norms. This development has been confirmed by a company spokesperson, thus making TCS the first IT services giant to announce an increment for employees in this financial year. TCS had rolled-out a salary hike in line with industry norms in October last year for the financial year 2021 as well.
“We can confirm that we are on track to give increments to all associates across our geographies effective April 2021, in line with our benchmarks. We are extremely thankful to all our associates for demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and an innovative mindset to steer the company in these trying times. This step is a reflection of our steadfast commitment to our associates,” said a company spokesperson confirming that TCS employees can expect the salary hike in the upcoming month.
The company will also continue to offer promotions to deserving employees as per the regular promotion cycles. The company is also looking at expanding its team in the US and Canada. Recently, the IT behemoth announced its decision to open a new IT delivery center in Montreal, with plans to hire over 100 new employees immediately, and more than 500 in the next three years.
Furthermore, the company is also looking at expanding its footprint in Ohio. The company is expanding its operations in Ohio by hiring more than 800 local employees at its Seven Hills Park campus outside of Cincinnati and other offices across the state by 2022, to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
