For the last fiscal the company focused on solutions based sales approach
rather than just the product sales approach for Cisco's products, radio and
security and back-up solutions. Even though its 25% growth last year was much
lower than that in 2003-2004, Targus was able to win some good customers. It
added the defense, government and education segments to its portfolio as big
focus areas. Some key customers were the Airports Authority of India, Director
General Rashtriya Rifles and Manpower Directorate. Targus also stepped up on the
enterprise segment.
