Tally Solutions

It was a stormy year of sorts for accounting software package company Tally Solutions. During the initial days of the fiscal, the company briefly cut the price of Tally ees 6.3 by 40% in an attempt to induce illegal users into turning legal. It ended the year by introducing a single user version for the SOHO and Retail markets at an introductory price of Rs 4,950 (later hiked to Rs 9,900). It recorded a volume growth of 26% during the fiscal with just a 5% growth in revenues according to DQ estimates.
